List of things I will never do again
Life is a change..
Every person has gone thru something that has changed them in a way and prevents them from being same person that they once were..
But as my grandmother always told me that it is a very very good thing as long as you keep learning and stretching yourself . Change is growth. Sometimes you have to accept the fact that things will never ever go back how they used to be. And this ending is a new beginning..
Although life has many important lessons to teach us ..
I would like to share some lessons that i have learned from my life’s experiences.
I have learned a lot and i have promised myself somethings that i would never do again in life..
1) I would never again attempt to be everything to everyone.
It is impossible to please everyone and you really shouldn’t try . Some people who constantly tell you that you did wrong and hesitate to compliment for what you did right. Don’t be one of these people & don’t pay attention to one of these people. Once you get that it is truly not possible to please everyone,you begin to live more purposefully trying to please only the right people.
2). I wouldn’t ever try to change other people.
You can’t change people, only they can change themselves.
Instead of trying to change others. Give them your support and lead by example. If there is specific kind of behaviour someone you love has ,that you’re hoping that it disappears over time then you’re probably wrong . If you really need them to change something . Be honest and put all the cards on the table so this person knows what you need them to do. When you realise that you can’t force people into doing something even if it’s for their own good you give them freedom and allow them to experience the consequences . And in doing so you find your freedom as well.
3)I would never again make same exact mistake
You have to respect wise words of Albert Einstein on this: “Insanity is doing same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” So whether you are in any business situation that isn’t making any progress or a relationship that is proving to be unhealthy . You should never step back into the same situation, expecting different results without something specific and measurable actually being different .
4)I would never choose short-term pleasure over long-term happiness
You have to do exactly the opposite. Sacrifice short-term pleasures for long term happiness . While everyone else is looking for the quickest shortcut ,i will look for the course of action which will produce the best results over the long term.
5) I would never let one dark cloud cover the entire sky..
Take a deep breath! It’s just a bad moment or a bad day, not a bad life. Everyone makes mistakes .
The secret of happiness is to count your blessings while others are adding up their troubles.
