Today I am here to share with you benefits of Ginger and how useful it is in keeping so many diseases away. I still remember how my grandmother used ginger as remedy for common cold and cough and it vanished overnight.  I never knew ginger has super healing properties.

Oleoresin , a medicinal component present in Ginger is known to relieve & suppress cough. Other than it’s medicinal properties. Ginger has  many more benefits. Starting from helping nausea , aches & pain to leaving you with a flawless skin & smooth shiny hair.

Being one of the most important medicine in Ayurveda, the medicinal properties of  ginger were discovered some 2000 years ago.

The multiple health benefits of ginger  come handy to cure everyday ailments. No wonder, Ginger is fondly called the “Chest of Medicine”  in Ayurveda for its immense Health benefits.

1. Ginger for Respiratory Problems( Cough and Cold)

Add ginger to your tea or warm water and get rid of cough, cold and sore throat.

Ginger with its anti-allergic properties will keep allergies & infections at bay. Chewing on raw ginger eases cough & blocked nose by stimulating mucus secretion. 

Just a  teaspoon of ginger  juice mixed with honey relieves cough and sore throat.

    I never know about the facts that ginger help in controlling sugar level ,will gonna tell this to my father in law as he is a diabetic patient

  4. I remember my father use to slice ginger, add lemon and salt with food. He told me.it is great for digestion and I was surprised to know it can also be used as pain killer

    I’ve been reading your blog for a while and just wanted to say what a helpful article this is. I’ve had cold sores for as long as I can remember and have only recently tried to look into natural ways to remedy them. now I’m using essential oils and they work GREAT! I’ve even written about it on my own blog Healedwithherbs.com. along with the info on your blog, it seems like there are some very strong natural cures for this life long virus.
